At The Sprout Foundation, we work alongside schools and communities to create practical, sustainable solutions that support learners, empower young people and strengthen the communities we serve.

Nourishing learners so they can learn and thrive. Our feeding schemes provide nutritious, vitamin-enriched meals to over 2000 learners every day across our partner schools in KwaZulu-Natal. By supporting learners' nutritional needs, we help create the foundation for better concentration, participation and learning.

Supporting vulnerable learners beyond the school term. For many vulnerable learners, school holidays can create an additional challenge when they no longer have access to meals provided at school. Our Holiday Parcel Programme provides essential food support to identified Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) and families in need during school holidays. By providing food parcels when school is closed, we help bridge the gap and ensure that vulnerable families receive support when they need it most.
