Rianka van Antwerpen

Executive Director

Rianka holds an Honours Degree in Public and Development Management. She has been working and volunteering at non-profits for many years and has dedicated her professional career to seeing the lives of people from challenging backgrounds changed. At The Sprout Foundation, Rianka is responsible for day-to-day operations, organisational development, beneficiary relationships, project development and execution, social media, and website updates.

Ryan Hartslief

Executive Director

Ryan is a qualified Chartered Accountant, also holding a degree in financial management. Ryan has a heart for the youth of South Africa and believes in doing business with purpose. He has a wealth of experience in the finance sector and provides insightful knowledge to the Sprout team on the best course of impactful decision making, responsible spending and organisational growth.

Andrew Portmann

Executive Director

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and has been working in the finance industry for many years. Andrew has extensive knowledge of financial and tax practices and is a key part of our financial oversight and organisational development. Andrew has a passion for helping others and creating equal opportunities in the workplace.

Trish and Gunter Volker

Non-executive Directors

Gunter and his wife, Trish, have been working in ministry for many years and have a heart for coaching people in crisis. Trish and Gunter run a non-profit, called New Creations Equipping, through which they help many people in need. The couple are devoted to providing life coaching and encouragement to school pupils and educators from under-resourced schools. Trish and Gunter are a key part of ensuring accountability, and encouragement in the Sprout team.

Jared Laljit

Company Secretary

Jared is a qualified attorney of the high court and has a passion for compliance management, risk management and corporate governance. Jared is responsible for helping the organisation follow best practices and meets stipulated requirements. Jared is a key part of ensuring that the organisation runs smoothly. He is a keen listener and always ready to provide a solution or lend a hand to someone in need.
